Loved the video. Think he'll have a shot at it. But I must have missed his "great screens" while at UConn

You didn't hear the whistle blow? Lol happy for him.

He made every shot! Hope he makes it. He's come a long way.

1) At least we saw him make 10+ in a row. A lot of highlight vids show you 10 makes without showing you the 15 misses.
2) I remember watching a video where Tyler Olander made like 10 corner 3's in a row.
3) AB does have a soft-looking shot. If he can actually make 10-15 footers in games, it would really help him find a place. Because right now his rebounding and defense aren't good enough.

TO hit a big 3 to beat Maryland when we played them in Brooklyn in 2014
Those might have been his last minutes of the year

Where are all the Brimah haters? NBA level talent as I have said for years good to see Amida being recognized. Celtics need Amida big time. An athletic 7 footer rim runner and block specialist who can run the floor and has great energy always has a chance to make the NBA.

Amida shot over 80% from the free throw line as a Junior, he is very mobile for a big, plays hard and with great energy, and is a great shot blocker. I really hope he makes it for a few years. He seems like a nice, sincere kid.

He was pushed around by AAC players, how will he handle NBA men

I said before he'll get signed as an UFA, play summer league and see where he stands

Who really knows at that point

If he actually gets stronger the last few months lifting weights rather than discussing Travis's lofty academic theories on some obscure tendon - he might have a chance.

He's spending the summer eating twizzlers, retaking his yearbook photo, and looking for a ninth woman to impregnate.

Kinda sounds like the man to be completely honest

Interesting Lakers workout from end of May. Sorry didn’t see this posted...
The drill is dribbling the ball from both ends of the floor to the other end & then shoot a jump shot (after an initial layup attempt, I believe). Not something I expected from Amida in workouts.
Kennedy Meeks (PF), Bryce Alford (G), Amida (C), Jordan Bell (F), Dwayne Bacon (SG) in this workout.

Guess who shot the highest percentage, 8-10 (probably two 3’s)? Alford? Nope. Bacon? Nope. Meeks? Nope. Probably not who you thought shot the highest percentage from 15+ out, but he’s a guy many here criticize. Yeah, our famous whipping boy shot the best. Amida’s handle was horrible, so let’s get that out of the way, but no team would want him handling the ball @ 6’11”. Amida showed a touch in this drill though. There are other Laker’s workouts with other players doing the same drill & not shooting as well. When your “bread & butter” is protecting the rim and you’re known as having no offensive skills, it’s nice when you shoot better than other known “offensive” players. He seems to be doing well in his workouts & I believe he’s had at least 10 teams work him out, so there’s some interest in him. Would be nice to see him land with the right team with veteran big guys to teach him (drafted or not).

And guess who’s the only “vocal” guy encouraging everyone to do well during the same workout on the far end baseline? Yep, our guy. Some NBA Teams looks for this stuff, believe it or not. Look @ Ollie’s career.
