Down to brass tacks….

I haven’t seen Rolling Rock in a store in years.

I made the switch to Lite last year and I'm all set for tomorrow. One tip you might not have thought about, if you're stuck for a place to get wings, I bet the nearest Chinese take-out joint does decent wings. You just need to sauce them yourself.
 
I have no idea what to do tomorrow. Been in person at the last 4, and no way to replicate how I watched in 99. Found the boneyard during the 2000 season and tried to get on board with rocks and wings, and it was a total failure from the beginning, to the point where I could not eat wings on a game day until 2014. I guess I’ll just go with my current 2023-2024 season mojo items and rituals. Come to think of it, last time I strayed this season was creighton due to being out of town on business and with a client. Guess I’ll stick with what has been working since I won’t be in person.

Have done wings and Bai before each of the 5 tourney games. May go on a search for Sacreds tomorrow as well (the local grocery store doesn't carry it anymore).

I remember Arnold Palmer pitching Penzoil from Latrobe, also home of Rolling Rock. I always felt like the key to Rolling Rock's consistency was a little bit of Penzoil in every batch.

Funny story about 1999. I was there and after the semi final game vs Ohio St me and my friends got totally drunk and were out until 2AM. Being a strong Catholic I needed to fulfill my Sunday obligation of going to Sunday Mass. I woke up at 7:30am to attend Mass at 8. I am still drunk when I walk into the Church and see the 3 nuns Calhoun had befriended. I think that this a good sign. Then the usher comes by to collect $ and he has a name tag. Honest, the guys name is James Calhoun!! I am not making this up. After that I was sure we had some divine intervention going on.
 
My mom and fellow season ticket holder (right to my left, along with my dad and 4 other friends) wasn’t able to make it to any of the tournament games this year due to travel.

She sends me these types of photos before and after every game.

I’ll be wearing these bad boys tonight. I forgot to put them on Saturday and when we were down my son jumped up and reminded me to put them on. Then we came back and won! Lots of mojo going on!

Its only harder to find them in bottles. All I can find these days is cans.
