From one incompetent reporter named Jeff taking about an incompetent ref named Jeff.
Of course the NCAA would do that to us. We just need to stay focused and do what we’ve been doing and not even make Anderson a factor.
The same way they gave a 4 seed a lousy hotel in Vegas.

Couldn't say this last night, but getting Anderson in the semis may help us NOT get him in the final. Either way, if he's squelched out like last night again, it's a non-issue.
I don't know if the six refs who worked yesterday are all rotated out in favor of the last three who weren't used, but if they are, the downside is we had two guys last night who called the fewest fouls per game all season, plus a BE ref (Anderson). So we're likely to get more whistles on Monday.

We don’t get a lot of fouls because we are a jump shooting team and Adams doesn’t like to deal with contact. We are a plenty big team who is ready for physicality and that will help our defensive intensity. Just look at what we did to Arkansas. I think we are built fine for a rock fight.
Adama gets to the line in only about 5% of his atttemots, how do you explain that?

Because he's more finesse and footwork than overpowering at the rim.

Lol - there is contact nearly every time he gets the ball in the post, not saying they should call it all but just maybe he should go to the line more than jump shooters.

More whistles might actually help us against a SDSU team that plays as physically as they can get away with (and sometimes beyond -- FAU was in the double bonus for like 6 minutes in the second half last night).

I don't pay attention to 90% of refs by name. Could somebody post Anderson's transgressions to enlighten casual fans?

He blew the whistle when UConn players committed fouls.

He’s looking at his high knees and fans in the stands - not the game. How he gets evaluated into a F4 ref - tells you all you need to know about the Big East Conference reporting to NCAA.
