Donovan Mitchell?

I've been high on Mitchell for a long time and it seems like the rest of the country is finally realizing how good he is. Kid has lived in CT. for a while and just looks like a UConn guard. He is a great athlete with a rapidly improving jump shot. I know we offered him like a year ago but I haven't heard his name around here lately, are we pursuing him hard?

He released his final 10 a couple of days ago and we weren't on it. I think we can officially say it's not going to happen.

Yup, just saw he cut his list today to 10 with no UConn. Not surprising since I never heard about any of of our coaches watching him this summer. Providence has been on him for years but now there are some big boys involved.

Kansas and Louisville have offered, wonder if it helps KU that his teammate from last year is going there. My guess is Mitchell is holding out for an offer from North Carolina.

FriarJ, any updates on Kris Dunn's summer? He's had a tough stretch of really bad luck but I hope to see him stay healthy and play well this season.

Well, reports are that he is in great shape and ready to go. Although that is exactly where we were last year. The team is heading to Italy in a week or so and they are saying he won't play. As you may recall he was injured in an exhibition last year against RIC, so they will avoid that chance. He will have to play big minutes this year for us to have any chance. Backup point guard is a freshman from Compton, CA and our starting 2 guard is going to be Henton with only transfer Junior Lomomba behind him.
