Scheyer certainly in a better position, and for the record, I think Filipowski likely ends up at Duke. But merely promoting your top recruiter doesn't mean you'll maintain that level of recruiting. There's a reason that K has been dominating recruiting for a decade with a series of different recruiters, and none of them have succeeded anywhere else.
Scheyer could urinate on the carpet of each of the top 50 recruits during an official and half would still verbal to Duke.

It's an incredible skill, "Come to Duke."

"Come to Duke..............Join the rat race.

It's a lot easier to recruit when you can point to the guy with a fistful of titles. Duke was bringing in elite talent when Capel was their main recruiter, too. How has that translated to his recruiting Pitt?

When is Orlando Antigua's HOF inauguration?

At the next player hater ball? Don't hate the player, hate the game???

Now back to high hopes on the upcoming visit by DC.

Went on the 'cuse board. They are surprisingly reasonable on this one. I will have to go back after the verbal.
Very respectful of DC and even UConn (for the most part). If he goes elsewhere and we can get a player like Kelis Fisher I think we'd be fine as Kelis Fisher may be a better fit for style of play, and versatility but it would be terrific all around to keep a great young man like DC home.

The coaches know his pluses and minuses and, based on the success of their development plans for other players, they're likely very confident he will become a force and enjoy playing home for his family and the state.

Hurley hasn’t been been alive as long as long as the Picker has been coaching and the one guy is like “has Hurley ever even made a sweet 16?”
Thats their benchmark over there because their one lonely title is so putrid after 45 years of coaching, so now it's like "how many sweet 16's have YOU made, bro?!"

They treat Hurley's past like it's a dig at UConn. I dont care what Hurley did or didn't accomplish when he was at a low major program. They seem to think that national championships move on with a coach when he leaves the school lol. We still have 4, and are on track to win another within the next few seasons. They will be lucky to ever sniff one again

Well, they do have a guy named Jdubs30. Should we trust his content?

Hurley is a young coach who’s only been at a major coaching job for a few years. Our cues brethren jump on that because that’s all they’ve got. It’s kind of sad really.
