The Dolphins went undefeated with a 2nd-string QB.Put a poor QB behind a great line and you don't get a great team.
Did you ever see Fran Tarkenton play?
That doesn't mean it isn't Dove.I've deduced that it is the reflection of the photographer in the glass
A folding chair could have been behind center handing off to Csonka, Kiick, and Morris. The Dolphins went undefeated with a 2nd-string QB.
The handoffs might have been tough. My chair can’t even hand me a beer.A folding chair could have been behind center handing off to Csonka, Kiick, and Morris.
It's Diego Goncalves. A wannabe equipment manager.I've deduced that it is the reflection of the photographer in the glass
No attack but I will agree to disagree for this reason.
"The game is won and lost in the trenches" is
a football adage emphasizing that success is determined by the physical, high-impact battles between the offensive and defensive lines at the line of scrimmage. Dominating this area is crucial for protecting quarterbacks, establishing a run game, and controlling the tempo.
Our most recent QB did not look great until he had a line that could make holes for a great RB that kept defenses on their toes. This to also keep an eye on a top D1 receiver or two. Thus giving him time to make his reads and complete his passes.
We have had several good QB's at UConn that had to constantly run for their life. It takes all 11 on the field, yes the QB gets all the attention just like a pitcher in baseball but the QB is only as good as the supporting cast.
That's when we tried to be a "grind it out" team. It's so much more fun when you can throw or run. We’ve had good lines with bad QBs and it wasn’t pretty.
