Duke should move up, best 5-3 team ever and Ga Tech used to be good. Don’t forget in 2004 they were buried in the championship game by some team that Duke should have beaten in the semis but the refs gave the game to who ever they were playing.

But they have better wins and I think wins count a bit more than “good losses”. This is fine really means little at this point anyway.

Totally agree...still think it's bogus, if we lost to an unranked team, we'd drop 5-6 spots easy.

Why the obsession with the rankings? Haven’t we all seen teams, like us win it from the 7 spot or higher? Haven’t we seen #1’s and 2’s get knocked off by 16’s and 15’s to say nothing of 3’s and 4’s going down? We’re going to lose some games and if they’re consecutive we'll drop into the teens up and down in the top 15 or 20, makes no difference.
The writers and coaches get this stuff wrong all year, every year as I see it. The Lunardi thing every March is a scam, the guy is taken so seriously by everyone, and UCONN has made these people look stupid time and again.
