Keep the money. Good Bye. Don't let the door hit you in the vagina on the way out
I really hope there is offest language in the final buyout. Not having to pay $1.1m would be sweet
The recruits might be 2*'s at UCONN but will be bumped up to 4*'s @ NebraskaMany on huskerboard.com are disappointed with hiring Diaco. I did get a couple laughs though:
One guy said "do UCONN fans just hate people with a personality? From how they described them I expected him to be a borderline psychopath. Dude seems cool"
Haha, just wait. We all loved his presser at first, too.
And another guy said "are there any 3, 4 or 5*s he can bring along?"
Either my sarcasm monitor needs fine-tuning or they must think very highly of our class.
Holy love fest. McKewon fell in love with the process...and a slim man in red pants. This should get a few good laughs.....McKewon: Five quick takes on Nebraska hiring Bob Diaco as defensive coordinator
1.3 mil base for Edsall/Ashlee is not bad.I just wish it didn't cost UConn $3.4 million
he won’t sugarcoat NU’s weaknesses if his track record at UConn — and working for Brian Kelly — is any indicator. This should get a few good laughs.....McKewon: Five quick takes on Nebraska hiring Bob Diaco as defensive coordinator
They described him as blunt?!?!? LMFAO
First of all, he recruited horribly here. This 2017 class may be the lowest rated since UCONN jumped to D1. Don't mean to bash these kids, and I expect HCRE to get the best out of them. NU fans think he'll recruit New England and New Jersey for them? Any advantage he would have as a recruiter if you want to compare it to UCONN is the current state of each program, one of which he helped bury.Granted Nebraska gets better recruits out the gate than UCONN, but they have to do a lot of "coaching up" as well. Not saying they never have a top 25 class but thats not their norm.

Who cares, can his name never be mentioned anymore?I saw on NBC this evening about Diaco being interviewed by Coach Bret Bielema. How would this affect his pay out? Do the Donors who ponyed up get their checks back? I would imagine this could work out in the school's favor.

Randy might be putting together a show that might make up for what has happened, and we'll be able to laugh at the past two head coaches.Who cares, can his name never be mentioned anymore?

Yup. Diaco is now back in his element and will probably thrive. Plus he gets to wear his favorite color (red) all the time now. He'll do well.Good hire for Nebraska IMHO.
In his defense, he might very well be blunt behindd closed doors with the team, but he certainly was the opposite thru the media...They described him as blunt?!?!? LMFAO
