He would be a great compliment to our future guards. Could play the 3 and the 4 during his time here and be a play finisher. His skills don't look great or even good at the moment but that makes him a 2 or 3 year player here. He has amazing length to go along with great athleticism. If we put some muscle on him and have him work on his ball handling and jumpshot he could be a lottery pick and a great long term player for us. Short term I would love to have Ray Smith also though.

A class of JA, Newman, Jones, Enoch, and Stone would be my dream. This is if Purvis and Hamilton make the jump after this year.

Some elite recruits mixed in with the multiple year guys who will be elite in the future is so ideal to be elite and staying elite for a long time. I keep saying this but I'm super excited for our future.

The only reason guys like Bazz, Kemba, and Boat don't get drafted earlier is because they lacked the physical tools to have the potential to be stars in the nba. These new guys like Purvis and Hamilton don't. If they produce especially in the tournament like UConn players of the past the NBA will come calling.

hamilton is small, I mean it's diffrent obv playing wing vs point guard. But if Hamiltons playing the 3 then he's def small for his postion. Same could be said for purvis if he plays the 2, although his strength and athleticism might make up for it.

Sure, but we're not talking about what team accomplishments are possible, we're talking about whether or not a couple guys enter the draft next year.

Boatright hasn't even been drafted, and if he doesn't show the ability to shoot (from range) like Bazz, and stop over-penetrating he'll be lucky to be a second round draft pick. He's a fantastic college player. There are very, very few guys at his size in the NBA.

I'm sure he'll play better under Ollie, but Purvis didn't light up NC State as a freshman. I'm excited about him, he has NBA potential, but he's going to need to make a huge leap to do it after this season.

Hamilton is a mini Deandre Daniels, and he got drafted mid second round after 3 years, and a great run in the tournament. Calling him a one-and-done is a huge reach at his size. He's tall, but needs to put weight on.

Agree…..I would like to think that even at the 38% clip as a frosh at NC State he shot he could keep the defenses honest enough to have plenty of space to create…………….. plus a year of working on your weaknesses such as thousands of jumpers, he might be even better?

Way off on this. Bazz is the tallest of the three and he is 6'1. Scouts were saying if he was 6'4 he'd have been a guaranteed top 5 pick.

What position did Rip play? The 3. HEA and Moore were the guards.

I should have been more specific. I was speaking about his physical "presence". He's maybe an inch(?) shorter than DD, but same build. He's going to have to show the ability to score from anywhere on the court in order to get drafted because at his size, he's not going anywhere after 1 year. And to further support my point, Rip left after 3 years, not 1.

Hamilton is pretty much the ideal size(height wise, he needs to get stronger) and skill set for an NBA SG/2, he's not an NBA SF/3. He's not small at all.

Makes sense. Stan Van Gundy said it best, IMO. Your position in the NBA is based on who you can guard.
