Horrible first 10 minutes, but played well after that. I admire Demary for toughing out vomitting on the court and coming back to play. Great game by Karaban.
Silas plays better in games he pukes in, apparently.

(His runoff reminded me of Bazz's after the Florida game winner.)

Ugly, sloppy, and frustrating first half. Mullins reminded us all of Mahaney, for most of the game. Solo might be the most important player on this team. When he’s not shooting, others are forced to step up. We grinded out another W. We probably stay at #5. We didn’t show enough to surpass Duke.

Holiday games are always funky, but we handled them in the end without our leading scorer. Alex seems good to go, guess he balls out harder after head injuries (see Texas last year).

Our team must be looking forward to Christmas.

Credit to DePaul for playing tight early defense and scoring on seemingly every turnover we committed.

Silas played really well the 2nd half, especially playing downhill; driving to the basket and drawing fouls.

The first game Reibe really didn't contribute much.

The best part of the night was seeing Ben Gordon and his son in the crowd enjoying the game!!

Ugly ugly game. It was 10 with under 2 minutes to go to DePaul. DePaul! I think everyone was already planning their Christmas celebrations.

Defensively playing at a really high level right now, kept another team under 40% shooting. The turnovers & sloppiness to start remains a concern: when this team values the ball & dosnt turn it over, they score. Basically shooting 50% from the field…. I really want to see this team put together a 40 minute game & stomp teams when they should. Up 17 with ball, immediately throw a turnover, then give up an And-1 three point play, it’s the little things. It’s going to bite them in the butt if they don’t clean that up. But take the win, get healthy, and keep pushing.

You think AP voters are watching how we won? They’ll see we covered and Duke lost. We’re moving up.
