go to watchespn and set the screen to watch both st johns and delaware
Griner may get POY but if I need a basket I want EDD and if Im starting a team I take EDD. Shes silly good. When it comes to offense shes at a whole different level then anyone.
Fraschilla is a basketball junkie. Women's, college, pro, international- he's got it covered. Was thrilled to see him doing women's games.
I am hoping Delaware keeps winnings so the national audience cane finally get a chance to see this player. It's a shame this is the first time people got to see her on TV. ESPN would love to be able to use her in a hyped up game vs Tennessee or Baylor.
Thanks...I thought I was the only one. As compelling as EDD's story is, ESPN must figure people tune in for half an hour, then goes away. But ESPN is obviously "all in" on the EDD story. They do a look-in at the SJU-Creighton game which was a 2-point game, then they had to rush back to tell us more about how much they admire EDD. Even after EDD went out, and the outcome totally decided, they only switched to the SJU game with a minute left, AND after EDD left the game and wasn't coming back in. If you have to do that obnoxious "whip-around" at least whip to a compelling game, father than a compelling story.Yes, and they are going to play that same interview before every game. ESPN can take a really beautiful story like EDD's and make you tired of hearing it, which I am sure they will do until Delaware loses.
You'll need a full box of Kleenex if Delaware and Tennessee play. That will be one sappy mess that ESPN puts together for that game.
Depends how quickly Glory Johnson picks up fouls. Hard to guard EDD from the bench.Delaware-Tennessee, she's likely to be covered by Glory Johnson. That should be an interesting test for her, nowhere on her schedule has she run into that sort of physical buzzsaw.
This is exactly the vulnerability for TN.Depends how quickly Glory Johnson picks up fouls. Hard to guard EDD from the bench.
If she can get Glory in early foul trouble, that would be a big step to passing that test, wouldn't it? I didn't mean to say she couldn't pass it, just that it will be a real test of a sort she hasn't faced. One I would like very much to watch happen.Depends how quickly Glory Johnson picks up fouls. I know I'll be bashed here by some for being an EDD-hater, but that isn't the case at all. Yes, I wished she had stayed at UConn, but that was a long time ago now, and I am well over it. My bashing is aimed at ESPN. Look at the mens tournament: TBS?CBS/whoever else show all the games, and the fans can choose what they want to watch--what a concept! ESPN has more channels than anyone, yet they have way more important <sarcasm> to show than WCBB.
Rant over...
Im sure Glory will get in foul trouble... whether is due to her rep or cause EDD gets the Jordan treatment, its in the eye of the beholderIf she can get Glory in early foul trouble, that would be a big step to passing that test, wouldn't it? I think this is a very fair comment,DC. Glory has a tendency to get herself into foul trouble against much lesser opponents.Im sure Glory will get in foul trouble... whether is due to her rep or cause EDD gets the Jordan treatment, its in the eye of the beholder

PSU had several bigs including Nikki Greene, Talia East, Ariel Edwards, and Tori Waldner so it is not like she hasn't faced similar challenges.
