I've seen chairs stay in front of their man better than we stayed in front of OUs speed demons. Since they were OU, they didn't have enough game to finish those drives. Goody for us.

Great job by the interior defense altering shots and not leaving SJ and TR to pick up all those folks.

Also very satisfying seeing AK step up at the end to seal the game. Seeing him and Ball step up tomorrow vs Florida would be a legacy event. I hope they let the centers play without the refs leaning on their whistles.

Oklahoma was 12-27 (44.4%) on layups. Was it good defense or bad offense?

It’s. They missed layups, but UConn defense was good as well.

We need to feed Reed more for sure. You've got a 70% walking bucket on the floor and he's taking, what, 6 shots a game? Half of which are from offensive boards.

Our team is running our motion at a snail pace. No hard cuts. No rim pressure. Nothing.

Give the ball to the most violent player on the floor and let him kill someone at the rim. OU had NO ONE to check him and Reed spent half his time p$%@@footing around on the 3-point line allowing their bigs to zone up

This! Reed shouldn't just be getting the ball by accident. Also it would be nice if UConn could find a way to take advantage of opposing centers sagging off and leaving Samson and Reed with wide open 12 footers.

This fan base is predictable.

At the moment we are still breathing, something that more than 90% of the programs in D-1 cannot say. We also are champions for at least another 16 days.

For the time being, focus on the positives. When the season is over there will be plenty of time to rehash the things that didn't work out as we hoped or expected.

I don't think he is 100%. He doesn't looks as nimble or strong on his moves to the rim as earlier in the season. But there is no reason he can't have a 10 for 16 game next time out.

But he hasn't done that in two months. Less gunning. More Stewart, AK and Solo.
