Michigan might have the highest ceiling of anyone in the country. But the true best teams will combine that high ceiling with consistency. For me, that’s where I still have lots of questions for them. Now, they might go on to blow UMD out (it’s a close game right now towards the end of the first half), but if they don’t it’ll be the third time this year they let a team vastly inferior on paper to them go toe-to-toe. I don’t think we’ve necessarily done that, unless you want to stretch the definition and count Texas.

And of course as I type that Payne goes down for the Terps. Michigan should certainly roll them from here.
I watched a little of the Villanova game and Michigan looked like they were from another planet. Villanova was lucky to even get a shot off.

In this one, it feels like two equal teams going toe to toe (for now - second half may be a different story). Coit going off for Maryland is a bit of an outlier - but Michigans guards have pretty much hit every 3 they’ve taken too.

it's a conference road game, you're probably going to see UConn in these same type of games vs teams folks on this board swear they're about to run through and blow out

We definitely will.

Thanks for the correction. Chuck mentioned it pretty quickly, so I didn't recall the exact language he used.

He's always been very complimentary of our program!
He just likes to always pick against us and continuously proven wrong I guess

looks like B. Hurley's ejection sparked something in ASU, that's a nice win for their resume.

Our fan base would be in a free fall if we allowed a team of Maryland’s stature to score 50 in a half

Even if Michigan ends up winning, this must qualify as another great team “laying an egg” against a not good team per the standards of whoever said that.

I'd go further than not good to describe this Maryland team. They are pretty bad, or have been so far this year.

They tossed him for that?!

They called him for taunting in the first half, too.

It was an exceptionally boneheaded thing to do given their other big is currently out of the game with a hyperextended knee injury.
