Looks like Stirtz has had a good year - but he’s been pretty awful today. Kind of athletically overwhelmed where nothing is easy. Made one really difficult step back in the first half.
Iowa State is a tough matchup for opposing PGs. Lipsey and pressure D with aggressive trapping.

Six minutes left and Southern Canada holding on for dear life, up 4 on St. Joe’s. I’m jonesing for some schadenfreude tonight.

Article about the SEC being down this year. But "teetering league"? The BE should be so lucky!

Just one year removed from a season of historic dominance, the SEC is grappling with its worst nonconference run of the post-pandemic era. Entering another big weekend, the SEC is just 27-38 against high-major competition, and that mark drops to 27-41 when factoring in the league's 0-3 mark against Gonzaga. By comparison, the SEC finished 60-19 against high-major teams/Gonzaga in regular season action last year.

Nebraska looks pretty good, undefeated and up 10 on Illinois on the road at the under 12 timeout

That was a pretty blatant foul on Kiyan Anthony when he was going up for his shot that the refs misses, Hofstra player grabbed his wrist. Hofstra wins 70-69.
Refs definitely missed that one. Hofstra takes down the fruit.

I saw that as well. I was going for Hofstra but Kiyon should have been shooting 2 FTs.

Yea I'm not complaining but this is a brutal missed call when you're down 1 with the game in the balance

I want to see a #1 pick type performance from Peterson on the road in a big spot

Melvin Council Jr on Kansas is shooting 8-14 from 3 and Kansas is leading NC State 66-63 with about 49.5 seconds. The surprise: he was 5-28 from 3 for the year.

NCSU should’ve burned a timeout once they got the ball upcourt. Especially with the 7’14” fly swatter underneath for KU.

Again they don’t call a timeout when they could’ve setup a play for the win.
