December General CBB Discussion Thread (Non-BE)

I just noticed BCU squeaked by New Haven yesterday, 67-63. Does anyone know if betting sites sell 3-game parlays on the same team? Like could I just bet BCU blind to lose against the point spread for the next 3?

Don’t feed the troll!! As soon as I see 611 I move to next post without reading!
troll? You know what a troll is?
He may make statements that you and many others don't agree with but he is as much of a troll as you are.
Solution to both of you - use the ignore option.;)

London Jemison with 20 points today for Alabama. He has 20, 13, 11, and 18 points in his last four games.

Nice to see the Connecticut kid doing well down there.
Betsey has been pretty good for the Cuse too I think.

Thanks for the edification and advice. I clearly did not know what a troll was, and I don’t need the ignore button

An internet troll is a person who deliberately posts inflammatory, offensive, or off-topic messages online to provoke arguments, disrupt discussions, and upset others for their own amusement or agenda, often using fake profiles and lacking empathy. They aim to create chaos by derailing serious conversations, denying facts, or attacking individuals, acting like mischievous figures or fishing with bait to hook reactions.

So I guess neither of us is a troll. Use your own discretion as to who you "discuss" things with on the Yard. I do.

Pitt lost to Hofstra 80-73. the demise continues

I watched a bit of that game, and Hofstra was definitely the better team. It's kinda amazing to see how far the former BE teams have fallen since the glory years of the conference.

Louisville the one exception really.

And they fell apart there for a few years, too. Pretty incredible the job Kelsey has done taking a team that lost 20+ games back-to-back years and immediately returning them to the top 10.

Hofstra with a chance to do something even more fun on December 13th in southern Canada.
Syracusefan is on a collective cloud nine right now after that Tennessee win. They’d end up on suicide watch if the Flying Dutch Pride beat Univ of Southern Canada.

Damn this Michigan team is nice. I have seen highlights of past games, but this is my first time watching them live. Nova I think will be a NCAA team. Devin Askew is a solid player keeping Nova in this game for now. He didn't play against BYU.

Nova about to get blown out by UM
Yup, that didn't last long. After Nova had a 7-0 run to get the score to Michigan 24 Nova 16, Michigan hit them back with 13-0 run and is leading 37-16 with 8 minutes to go.

Yup, I said success would be staying within 30.

Not to get the mafia out, but UM is the best team in America. Uconn 2. They really don't have weaknesses. Those calling out Cadeau, kid is a perfect fit for this roster.

Michigan literally makes it look easily comical. They are a goliath. I just watched Yaxel take the ball up, throw it to Mara at top of key and then passed it to a wide open cutter under the rim for an easy layup.

This looks like Uconn 2024.

Dybantsa looks disinterest in help defense and is an iso middy ball hog in O this game. I don’t know how you can watch him play and not have him a clear third behind Peterson and Boozer
