good for him. I'll be rooting for him.
No more than any other kid I'd wish well. He's not a former Husky in my eyes.good for him. I'll be rooting for him.

He’s about as Husky as Andrew Bynum & Kevin Durant. No more than any other kid I'd wish well. He's not a former Husky in my eyes.
Yes, that is what I meant as well. He’s about as Husky as Andrew Bynum & Kevin Durant.
That being said, can still wish him well as a young person chasing his dream
What if the National Championship game between us and the Terps is tied with 1 second on the clock and Darius at the line for a 1 and 1? Ah who am I kidding, we’re always in the double bonus by the 12 minute mark….good for him. I'll be rooting for him.
I can’t blame a kid for wanting PT, and it’s become fashionable to blow off your commitment late if you don’t like your situation. Clearly winning doesn’t mean a thing.“Buzz Williams is known for winning at every different program he goes to. He develops guards and has off court relationships with his players. Maryland has a great history of basketball and can’t wait to show the fans what I’m going to bring to the table!”

Top-20 recruit Darius Adams, former UConn signee, commits to Maryland
Darius Adams, a high four-star prospect in the 2025 class and McDonald's All-American, has committed to Maryland, he told On3.www.on3.com
So he's still behind four guards?Maryland lost Gillespie and Rice to the portal but brought in Isaiah Watts (11 PPG at Washington St), Andre Mills (redshirt freshman from A&M), David Coit (not great year at Kansas but Senior), and Myles Rice (10 PPG at Indiana)
Congrats to Adams for landing at a P5 and likely getting a big bag, but how many backcourt minutes are available year 1?
Will he be set up as well for years 2 and 3 there as he would have been here?
I guess we’ll see
It’s a much weaker backcourt than UConn with a much more realistic path to PT. Rice is probably the best of the bunch and he’s just okay.So he's still behind four guards?

This is gen is so soft. What message does that send a kid? Don’t honor or work, go path of least resistance with a losing team. I wish him well but also dont care how it turns out for him.
What kid are you referring to here? Is Adams sending the message or receiving it? If he's sending it, who's getting it? Some fourth-grader?I can’t blame a kid for wanting PT, and it’s become fashionable to blow off your commitment late if you don’t like your situation. Clearly winning doesn’t mean a thing.

A nomad who spent several years at each of his last 3 jobs so I guess the meaning of nomad is now flexible.I don’t wish any harm on him, but I don’t care about him any more than I do kids at the other hundreds of schools. Just don’t have time for it
And Buzz is officially a nomad at this point
This was a mutual thing. It was in neither party's interest to continue the relationship. It was a very reasonable and adult thing to do that sets a good example.I can’t blame a kid for wanting PT, and it’s become fashionable to blow off your commitment late if you don’t like your situation. Clearly winning doesn’t mean a thing.

Whether he was misranked or not, he comes from a town in which Hurley owns a summer home and is likely acquaintances with everyone in the basketball culture down there.I'm really curious how this all goes down. I know many here (myself included) thought he was misranked and were kind of confused about his recruitment/stature. Kind of telling how so few here were disappointed when he decommitted.
based on your line of thinking, I guess it would be safe to assume that if you were in a job whereThen you should stay I can’t blame a kid for wanting PT, and it’s become fashionable to blow off your commitment late if you don’t like your situation. Clearly winning doesn’t mean a thing.
