Other than Jarnell Stokes, this game is unwatchable.

I'm fairly disgusted with the performance today.

Another steal and foul. Wow.

Low point after low point.

We don't box out. We take terrible shots. We miss every single easy shot. We are sloppy with the ball.

Against an 8-10 SEC team.

No excuse.

Oh, this game's not over. But I won't be impressed if and when we do win it. We should beat the snot out of this team.

And sorry Greg Anthony, Stokes is no Jeff Malone at this point in his career, let alone Karl. He only looks good because everyone else blows.
 
Hate to say it, but this team reminds me of 2010. I really hope we turn it around. The lack of effort and intensity is really unacceptable considering how much we had last year.
 
Our front court sucks. This team is all SN and JL. What has happened to Drummond? Is he still sick? I know AO and RS are just bad but why is AD playing at their level. Wow this team needs RB to get another scorer on the team bad. This team doesn't play UCONN basketball at all.
 
Our big men are just clumsy doofus'.

I mean, Uconn is slowing the game down? This game is tracking to play in the low 50's? What the heck has happened to the Uconn credo of running, pushing the basketball, getting easy baskets, picking up the tempo? Aside from everything else, this team now plays at a pace remiscent of the Big Ten's ultra boring style of hoops. I know we are missing Boatright, but this has been the style with him. It's hard to get to picky after a NC season, but this year has been an absolute conundrum. This Uconn team was better last year when Kemba was on the bench.
 
Not to harp on the same thing (which I am), but what exactly is our goal in the half court offense? We essentially play 2 on 5 every trip. That's not to say that I want the other guys shooting the ball every time down, but if they never touch the ball, ever, then why would you worry about them in the least?

What is going on in practices? That's what I want to know. You lose a game and this is how you come out for the next one? JC, what's the deal buddy?

Gives Stokes credit. Big men rarely look good their freshman year and he's done it with just a couple of weeks of practice and games.
 
Drummond is my favorite player, but Im starting to question if his addition was actually a bad thing. He may have thrown off the team chemistry, as Alex and Roscoe have been a shell of themselves all year.

And Napier is playing terribly too. I can't believe that JC is still allowing him to take those off-balance shots with nobody under the basket.

I would hand the ball to Lamb and try to let him take over. Because everybody else is incompetent.
 
They have clearly given up. No execution, no ball movement, no set plays and worst of all no effort. The frontcourt is a joke.
 
This is really awful. Tennessee is not very good and UConn is looking really bad. I can't even believe what I'm watching. WTF happened to this team?

As if Napier is willing to pass the ball. He sucks today. One of the worst jobs I've seen from any UConn pg. Get him out of the game.

That Nappier three pt attempt was a copyright illlustration of this team's makeup. A dismal, poor, lazy shot that no one on the offense could prepare for - no one could position for the offensive rebound, no offense run, just a horrendous, non structured shot. It's almost like they're not even coached. Calhoun need to get in that kids ear and tell him he should not shoot the basketball without making sure 3 other players touch the basketball on a half court posession.
 
We're not playing poorly because of the refs, but boy are they terrible. I've seen Tenn initiate contact on AO's last 2 fouls. Too bad they didn't see it that way.

I want to see Lamb take 75% of our shots from here on out.
 
When other teams box out Drummond I wonder if he thinks the rule is to stand still....oh look AO fouled out.
