This better not be real. Why not tattoo a big L on your forehead if you buy one of these?

Has cuse become our new pee-cee?

All hope all these cuse threads aren't because of ACC jealousy.

Shouldn't that be a half shirt?

Is this a joke? Gotta be the first time I've seen any team anywhere put out a "historic start" to the season shirt when the regular season isn't even done yet. Weak.

The only time I can imagine this being OK is if you make it through the regular season undefeated. That is an accomplishment. This is a joke.

I just ordered mine. I also pre-ordered by "Congrats to the 'Cuse - 2013-14 Sweet 16 Finish" shirt.

I heard they were raising a banner to the Carrier Dome rafters and encouraging the fans to chant, "WE'RE NUMBER EIGHTEEN!!! WE'RE NUMBER EIGHTEEN!!! WE'RE NUMBER EIGHTEEN!!!"

I think I'm going to buy the new Cuse mid-season celebration T-Shirt and put it right next to this one, my pre-early season Kentucky undefeated T-Shirt!! :D

Well, I have to admit I have a UConn 2009 National Championship shirt. Might be a collector's item...My brother found it in a shop in Chad when he was there on business. Had all the tags and everything. I've tried to post a photo but having trouble for some reason.

The women won in 2009.

Regardless - I'd venture a guess that most final four teams have shirts pre-printed in advance. These Cuse shirts are an entirely different, and hilarious, story.

Three other teams had that same shirt with their school on it. UNC is the only one who can claim to be champs. Imagine Duke in 1999:D

This wasn't a Womens shirt. And your right. All the final four teams have shirts pre-printed. If you don't win they get shipped to a t-shirt "recycler." It is big business in some parts of the world. Apparently in the market in Chad's capital there are stall after stall of t-shirt sellers with every kind of shirt imaginable. My guess is a few of those Kentucky 40-0s will end up there along with a few 25-0 Syracuse ones. He said there are all sorts of weird shirts like reunion one, high school graduation classes, you name it. UConn 2009 just happened to be brand new and hanging up so he bought it for me.

I'll be in Ndjamena in April or May and you can guarantee where I'll be headed.

I have to say though, that the Helms Championship is more legit than Duke's 1999 #1*
(*in the Saragin calculations). At least in the 1920s there was no national championship tournament and Syracuse did win the Helms title.
