AK is keyed on way less than our other starters.

"Off" is one thing. He was definitely that. He also played with oven mitts on his hands and got absolutely flambeed defensively. He looked like my dad trying to stick with some of those shooters.

The problem is we have no good backups but something has to change. Ross isn't nearly good enough but I want him playing more and Solo and AK sitting more when they're flat out hurting the team with their play.

The Hurley Karaban union needs to be studied. He's made this kid come back twice, plays him 38 mpg, when his market was highest after 2024 in a weak draft. Now he's back 2 years older, not looking all that great, in a loaded draft.

I'm sure he's pocketed some nice NIL, but man the kid missed his train. Coaching mismanagement there. And then we have to hear how decorated he is. Well, he would have been better off less decorated taking the same window kids like AJx took.
 
OK, gonna try to be an optimist.

AK is the only real contributor from the title teams with this group. Hurley's got a championship culture, but he is not without his blind spots.

Maybe this is a loss that "shocks the system" and guys turn it up a notch. Hopefully it prompts the staff to figure out exactly what changes are needed and how we can adjust.

A 1 seed is probably off the table. That doesn't concern me as much as the fact we've regressed as the season has gone on.

At the same time, we've seen they're capable of beating some of the best teams in the country during the non conference. Gotta turn this into an opportunity to get better.

It may never completely click this year, but I have to believe the staff will be relentless in trying to figure it out.

Watch the game again. We came out firing, getting up shots very early on the clock. We played at a higher pace all game long.

We played at their pace. We usually use our pace to slow the game down. You don't give up 91 points playing at our 65 possessions a game pace.

What a miserable game. Defense was nonexistent. Dix, Graves, and Zugic all had season highs. IN THE SAME GAME

Silas played hard. Braylon tried to win it on his own. Tarris had a strong first half but disappeared in the second. I thought Ross played really well

Complete no shows by Solo, AK, Stewart. 10 points on 4-19 shooting which includes a garbage time three

We left at least 10 points at the rim in the last 10 minutes on missed bunnies. 7 point loss

Whatever. Now the pressure is off. You’re not a top 5 team, you’re not in the 1 seed race, and you’re not even #1 in the conference. Just go out loose, play ball, and pick up 2 wins against Nova and St Johns

Watch the lane when UConn is on D. Wide open and no rim protection allowing for easy layups. Don’t have a is a tough rebounder to help Reed. Starting lineup is not athletic. FT shooting is bad. Too many forced shots tonight.

Must mean UConn will win the NCAAT!

Well, yea. He is human. But that is how you beat teams. Take out the teams most important piece, and hope no one else can make up for that. It worked tonight.
