It was still 2:1 a lot of times in each half. So it was a bit better but we were pounding it inside a ton.

We went back to playing UConn basketball. Dominant in the post. Newton and Hawkins attacked the rim. We made our open 3s. Played defense without fouling like maniacs. Let’s goooo! Turn the page. Forget about X and PC. Got the swagger back!

Anyone else think way the bench needs more mins, he’s shaky at times with TOs but good things happen when Diarra is on the floor? He just brings energy, love that. I’d like to see Alleyne more he’s not frenetic any more w ball and he’s really good defensively.

And obv Clingan needs more time, esp with how Karaban’s getting manhandled on the glass today and dominated off the bounce the past two games Prior. Wouldn’t Clingan mask that a bit?

Great win, our D was back just didn’t get any bounces/loose balls was unlucky in that regard. Can’t believe they didn’t double Sanogo. Credit to our shooters they stood out on tape I guess?

Great D today. It’s nice when the whistles is used judiciously. We made Creighton look very ordinary without shooting particularly well and little to no bench production. Only 8 assists today.

Close games are good for UConn sometimes as they need to know how to respond to that pressure.

More relieved than anything. We haven't been clicking for a while. It still seemed like a C+ game. A case of us just wearing them out.

Creighton has an issue with McDermott, he got severely out coached today.

Good game all around. I think they did a great job of defending without hacking and reaching in. Sanogo dominated. Kind of surprised McDermott went with no double teams after watching tape of our last couple games.

One thing I would have liked is more time for Joey to try and get him back on track. We're gonna need him to be hitting big shots come tournament time.
