Great effort UConn wonderful game
Williams is exactly as good as I feared. And ONO will be a monster. That block on Mabrey was just filthy.
That was my fear about this game. Williams and Nurse are gone - but what if Williams and Walker are just as good or better? Walker was solid. Williams was spectacular. And then ONO was very good off the bench.
I understand Paige Bueckers was at the game. I'm good with that....

Does anyone know how you can view the post game interviews?
There were so many great plays by everyone single Husky, but I agree with you that was the "Play of the Game" for UConn. I came out of my seat on the couch and did my best vertical...3 maybe 4 inches or so......The block on Mabrey was the highlight of the game for me.
The tech was not for the Dangerfield foul. She got that for her jawing with Geno. The foul just after on Dangerfield looked pretty dirty in replay. Came from behind and jerked Crystal’s head back.Really? I didn't see that and I watched the game. Are you talking about Katie Lou and Young? Both those situations were fouls on her. As for the Ogunbowale foul on Dangerfield, I didn't see that as a tech. How often do they call that? I really wished the announcers had continued to call the game. Perhaps it was my green glasses, but I didn't "lots of cheap shots".

Guess you over estimated her abilities. I running over to McGraw's Bench right now.
I didn't have UConn winning by this much, but I had Chrstyn going off for 35. She came up short with only 28.![]()
Neither a technical nor a flagrant 1 gets a player tossed. But after the flagrant foul, MM took her out of the game, probably to protect her from doing something that would get her suspended as she clearly lost her cool. Why did Ogunbowale not get tossed?

And the Begining of the END was ending so why keep her in, Muffet's no dope.Neither a technical nor a flagrant 1 gets a player tossed. But after the flagrant foul, MM took her out of the game, probably to protect her from doing something that would get her suspended as she clearly lost her cool.
Did anyone see her there? It was quite the display of freshmen on our side as well as some unhinging and classless behavior on their side.... Maybe freshmen at UConn can get playing time after all if they're ready and willing to put in the work. It seems like a game I'd want any recruit for UConn at.....I understand Paige Bueckers was at the game. I'm good with that....
I asked this in the chat room. Does unsportsmanlike count differently than a technical? both seem to warrant 2 shots and the ball back? I thought with 2 T's you get ejected? Why did Ogunbowale not get tossed?
I could not have predicted that. I'd have to go back and look thru the prediction thread, but who had THAT score? A few quick thoughts...
CWill has thrown down the gauntlet. Will she be legendary when all is said and done? Well check off the first box - have the game of your live against the (former) #1 team in the nation! 28 points on 11-16 shooting? Holy beatdown!
When Lou's shot was off, she found other ways to contribute as would be expected from our AA. 15 points but 6 boards and 6 assists.
Pheesa with a double double? 16 and 14? WOW. How clutch was she defending the post?
Danger. Just love her. Daggers! And Walker - she really has come into her own.
BTW ND... Our bench is better than your bench LOL. Both teams really only went 6 deep but LOVE that ONO got in there and contributed.
Just a tremendous effort all the way around. The players should be very proud and should let this soak in and use it to get better for the most important time of the season - the NC run in early April. So proud of them!!!
Life is good!!!It doesn't matter if it's steak or a cold sandwich on the plane back to Storrs. There is no greater feeling in the world for a team then beating a top team and favorite on the road at their place. The ride home from a game like this will be absolutely fantastic for this team.Geno should take the team out for a steak dinner tonight. They just beat the best team they will play this year by 18, and they did on the road. I love it!!!Life is good!!!

The team has a flight to St. Louis that departs shortly for Collier's homecoming game on Tuesday.Geno should take the team out for a steak dinner tonight. They just beat the best team they will play this year by 18, and they did on the road. I love it!!!Life is good!!!
She's being honored tomorrow at her HS. Lots of good steak houses in St. LouisThe team has a flight to St. Louis that departs shortly for Collier's homecoming game on Tuesday.
Someone said that Geno was talking to the ref and Arike told him to “shut —- up”The tech was not for the Dangerfield foul. She got that for her jawing with Geno. The foul just after on Dangerfield looked pretty dirty in replay. Came from behind and jerked Crystal’s head back.

A slap on the wrist, or a multi-game suspension? Not a good look for her personally, the team and especially the school.Steak?......somehow I think Italian might be in order.....
