Syracuse has 8 and Connecticut has 10. Both have the same amount of final four and title appearances.
Had to look it up. Wikipidia says you've been to 5 elite eights and 3 final fours only. lol. Only 3 elite 8's the last 20 years?

Thanks. I was looking at tourney results after expansion to 64 teams. Wow 3 elite 8's in the last 20 years.
So you dont count half of kentuckys titles huh?
Wiki page showing Kentucky has 7 titles. Cuse only has 1.
Ok got it, you count uks titles from the 40s and 50s but not the elite 8s for cuse in the 60s....cool
The Helms Foundation ones do not count. Stop it.
Syracuse fans only started giving a crap about those fake titles once they realized it would give them as many titles as UConn has. Trouble is, UConn's are legitimate.
Was the above error intentional? You and my wife should open a business proofreading restaurant menu's for inappropriate possessive's. Theres lot's of them.
Your two Helms 'titles' were awarded (not won, awarded) at a time when similar titles for football were regularly awarded to Yale, Harvard and Princeton (each of those three has many).SU has 1. Lost to Kentucky and Indiana, beat Kansas. UConn has 3 beating Duke, and powerhouses Georgia Tech and Butler. Syracuse also has 2 titles Pre-NCAA Tournament.

1995: UCLA won the titleHmmmm, so maybe we can add a few shoulda-wouldas for UConn since you're beating your chest about the quality of your opponents? After all, UConn lost to UCLA, UNC, Duke, Maryland and those teams went on to win the national championships (3 of those games came down to the final seconds). Not to mention that UConn faced Duke and Kentucky in the semis of those tourneys against weak teams (plus, Georgia Tech had beaten UConn earlier in the year and they had future NBAers on that team).
Did someone really try to downgrade a national championship based on who the opponent was in the championship game? Really? I mean, really? I think that should be some sort of messageboard foul.
Having said that besides orangehomer and few others, I don't feel bad at all ofr Orange Nation actually have a little smile as they are thinking "How do we not make a FF with this team..." even with Fab not on the court.
If I were them, the thought that their team didn't make the Final Four, but a UConn team with a transcendent player and, well, not much else won the previous NC, would really piss me off.
