I feel that we who are not in B1G land and that includes the NYC DMA should not have either the ACCN not the BTN forced down our throats if we want to watch sports programming. There are no teams in those conferences that are relevant to New England/NYC.

Maybe you are aware, but all of nyc is altice/ cablevision, so no impact.

That said, this means no more BTN coverage in NE/Boston which throws a big dent in Delaney’s BOSTON to DC plans.

Plus, Virgina is probably conserved out of market too.

All in all this is very big news - both good and bad for us.

Moderator: "It sounded like you said that Comcast did not even respond to you. So I'm curious, how are you negotiating if they're not talking to you? If it doesn't make sense financially for them, did they give you any reason whatsoever?"

Mark Silverman: "I don't know what makes sense financially for Comcast. We are -- I'm feeling with a little over five weeks left before football season, we should be much further along than we are. It's extremely concerning. I've gone through this with them 10 years ago. And I can't predict what their motivations are. I don't know what their motivations are."

Much ado about nothing. B1G riling up its fan base, firing warning shots across Comcast's bow.

"The good news is that Comcast will be alone if they decide to drop BTN and those Big Ten games on FS1," Silverman said. "These games are available on many different television providers. Cable, satellite and new Internet providers as well. Viewers will have no problem finding alternative providers in their area."
