Collier in Minnesota

Just finished watching last night’s game. All of the Mystics’ games are blacked out on League Pass here in Maryland, whether they’re home or away, broadcast or nor. Last night’s was away and not broadcast locally. Way to build a fan base.

Collier had a great second half. Not only the stats, but the little stuff — tipping passes and rebounds, and coming through in clutch situations. First half was not great. This is the second game recently when she had trouble in the first half and shone in the second half.

Commissioner Englebert had some nice things to say about Napheesa.

Pheesa handled herself like a pro. Panel tried to get her embroiled in WNBA substandard travel but was rebuffed.

Bit sad that no word on Maya. It definitely seems like her leaving is permanent.

Minnesota may be the worst passing team in the WNBA, particularly post entry. That is something Shepard seemed to do very well. This group is the gang that couldn’t pass straight.
