It really is true...Nebraska could have waited a few hours to let the news out...give Frost a chance to tell his team directly, not hear it from some third party source because Nebraska felt it imperative to announce the second his game was over.

I think this is impossible in this day in age. Nebraska's boosters I'm sure are intimately involved and with Twitter, it's gonna get out.

According to Chris Fowler, this has been a done deal for weeks, so I'd say Nebraska did a pretty darn good job of not letting the news leak.

Sumlin is due $10MM under his old contract. He can step down to the AAC level, take over an undefeated team with a star QB in Milton, for AAC level money for a couple years and then get another P5 coaching contract if it all goes to plan by 2020.
