They have TERRIFIC uniforms. But yes this team really isn’t that talented. UConn matches up real well. For some reason I’m feeling a big game for Cobb

I agree. I think Carlton is a year away from being what we really want. Zona has some athletic, albeit untested bigs who could give him trouble. Ollie recruited Lee for a while. Cobb has been our secret weapon that we have only broken out against better front courts and I think he will get more minutes that Carlton again this weekend. Hurley is fortunate in that he has very few decisions to make in our backcourt but he is definietly balancing future development versus current success in our front court.
 
I like our chances against this Zona team. Front court will have their hands full with Jeter and Luther though. We need Cobb to step up again.

I agree. Cobb has been like a mobile brick under the basket. Hard to move and surprisingly mobile. Also of note, Zona getting into foul trouble easily. Surprisingly Jeter and the other dude haven’t rebounded well in this game or all year
 
Final thought: Zona blowing Georgia Southern out on great defense. Average rebounding. Great from the field. However, UConn can beat this team if defense is tightened up. Cobb and Carlton can match up well with the bigs. This game is a 60/40 UConn advantage imo

It means their defense is really good. And that this tiny dude tried to drive on Fall.
 
Michigan State @ Rutgers on BTN. Rutgers with their first sell-out since 1997 and look like the better team early on. Pikiell doing work.
 
Radford is super good. Also ECU was losing to 2-4 App State the majority of the game till now. Can’t afford them losing this game

Watching Iowa Wisconsin now. Iowa looks pretty legit to me. This is an intense game.
 
Appalachian State is legitimately better than ECU. Nice upset from the Pirates.

Michigan State and Rutgers played tonight also. Why is the Big Ten starting so early? I don't think I've ever seen a conference game in November before.

They did it last year too. They start early and then go back to OOC for another week or two. So weird.

You can't count on any team during the rebuilding process.
Antigua left USF in shambles. So much so, that after only a year Gregory has already replaced every scholarship.

USF was idiotic to hire a bag man for HC of a school that simply can’t recruit at a high level for basketball. You need a coach that can scout well not a recruiter from an SEC school.

UConn Football would have had a decent record too if they played all FCS teams...
