How good is St. Johns, i know ponds is $$$$$$
Heron who avoided UConn at all cost is a huge talent for the Johnnies. They have the most talent in the Big East will be fun to see if they make it

Memphis up against Texas Tech at halftime.

Gonzaga/Creighton is a heck of a game. Still think Creighton will get cold and Gonzaga will win, but the Bluejays are putting in quite a fight.

0-7 LaSalle up by 3 against Villanova at the half. I’m sure it won’t last, but still...

Gonsaga and Nevada both need to be in the American.
Still don’t understand why we haven’t just said it let’s go all in on basketball and brought on every major non-P5 basketball school. If you’re going to be the land of misfits you mind as well get the best misfits.

Tulane blew a 9 point lead with under 4 minutes to go at home to Southeastern Louisiana today.

Cincinnati up at UNLV at half

Memphis loses to Texas Tech

Tulsa loses to Utah

Temple is tied with St Joes 48-48 in the second half

Horrible day for the AAC. Absolute blood bath.

Kansas is losing at home to Stanford with 8 mins to go

Honestly Memphis and Tulsa were expected to lose (apparently Penny isn’t great at coaching remaining talent like Dan ;) ) Tulsa with the banner loss. Overall the top did there’s thing and the bottom did there thing. No surprises for me

I saw that URI lost to Providence - it’s been a rough start for Cox. Looked at their shooting woes, whoah...27-130 from 3...21% for the year.

Syracuse struggling against Cornell right now. God I hate rooting for them but we can’t have them losing to Cornell.

Edit: nvm we blew out Cornell. Go Cornell!

We have to rely on Cincy, Houston, Temple, UCF and Memphis this year. These 5 with UConn need to beat up on the rest of the conference. Because the rest of the conference has had a very poor showing.

Extremely top heavy conference.

Yale was down 49 to 39 at the half against Miami.

They came back and beat the pants off the Canes.

WSU won. Houston is up 14 on Oregon with 3:46 left to play

WSU beat Baylor
Houston beat a ranked Oregon team
Temple beat a tough hometown rival St Joe’s
Cinn won at UNLV
Tulsa lost by 4-5 @Utah
Tulane lost
Not exactly a bloodbath in the key games the conference did okay.

Better than OK. Memphis could have won but I’d say the conference showed strongly yesterday and we can make it a banner weekend today.

Arizona @ UConn 1:00 ESPN2
UCF @ Missouri 3:00 ESPNU
Oral Roberts @ SMU 3:00 ESPN3
MD-Eastern Shore @ ECU 4:00

After watching a dreadful coaching performance by Johnny Dawkins UCF vs. Missouri it makes you appreciate what we have. UCF up 3 with 7.3 secs to go and a foul to give fails to foul with 3 secs and gets burned on a game tying 3 pointer. UCF loses in OT as Dawkins sits quietely on the sideline during the extra session.

I think UConn can still win the AAC.
