3 AAC games today:

Georgia State @ Tulane 1:00 ET
Stetson @ USF 7:00 ET ESPN3
UTRGV @ Houston 8:00 ESPN3

Zion’s average shot length last night was about 1 foot, he can dunk at will in college and no one can stop him. He’ll expand on that in the NBA but he doesn’t need to now.

Was Pitt ever there?

Sure they used to be the team that screwed everyone’s bracket with an early exit, Cincy has had that covered recently.

Xavier Johnson is an absolute stud. Was way under-ranked (as I stated when we were making a late push for him).

Tulane lost again. I know it’s Dunleavey - but they are just bad. It’s like a race to the bottom between East Carolina, Tulsa, Tulane and SMU. I think USF is better than all of them - which is sad.

I thought Ohio State was #1 according to the new NET rankings. Maybe just slightly flawed...

Well by The transitive property, if Cuse wins over OSU, it just means that we’re actually #1 in the NET rankings

I'm having a lot of fun watching the Montana/Creighton game on FS1. Both teams hitting shots like crazy and Montana's Sayeed Pridgett has 18 points with 6 minutes left in the first half.

My wife grew up in eastern Montana and is a Montana alum. My in-laws live in Arizona, so we're planning on going to the Montana/Arizona game over the holidays. Go Griz!

Purdue-Florida St. on ESPN 2. Should be a great game.

This kid Edwards for Purdue is averaging 26 a game. Unreal.

In 1936, several entities were in the business of choosing a “national champion” of college football. Minnesota, despite a late-season loss to Northwestern, was the choice of the first Associated Press poll.

That didn’t sit well at all with fans of Alabama (8-0-1), LSU (9-0-1), and Pittsburgh (7-1-1). Three other “champion” selection boards chose Pitt to top their list, and the Panthers went on to shut out Washington in the Rose Bowl 21-0.

A sportswriter came up with an alternate national champion, giving a mythical national championship to Slippery Rock. His story got picked up by the wire services and was reprinted nationwide.

Here’s his “last-team-standing” scenario: Slippery Rock beat Westminster, which defeated West Virginia Wesleyan, which beat Duquesne, which upset Pittsburgh, which defeated Notre Dame, which beat Northwestern, which beat Minnesota.

Column: Recalling Slippery Rock's 'national championship'

Watching UNC Michigan right now on ESPN. Iggy Brazdeikis is big time for Michigan. I don't mind rooting for the Wolverines, and it's especially easy against UNC.

Me too. The graphic of Canadian freshmen they just put up with Dort, Shittu and Iggy was painful. All guys we seemed to spend time on for a while. Oh well.

Florida state up by 10 over a VERY good Purdue team.

If it helps UConn then that trumps the hatred for Syracuse. Unfortunately.
It's true.

And for every syracuse fan/writer who tells you our game doesn't matter because frank howard didn't play. Consider jalen carey scored 26 pts again us. In the 3 games since then he has scored 14, 0, and 4 tonight for a total of 18.

If you are rooting for Cuse to win in any situation you are doing it wrong.

Yeah, damn. That hurt to see.
