His game is the opposite of tight. Lots of silly negative plays. His development will say how far the team goes, unless someone (Gaffney) overtakes him.
 
Needs to hit open shots, but the job he’s done (so far) on the preseason BE player of the year has been impressive IMO.
 
His defense has been outstanding. When he isn't outclassed athletically, I think his IQ can pay dividends on that end. He hasn't been as effectively offensively, but he made some foul shots when we needed it badly.

Well that wasn't the smartest shot. Needs to learn what a good shot is. He's used to doing whatever he wanted to at Howard because he had to.
 
Give the ball to Bouk and get out of his way for the next 2:45....

Cole is 2 for 12. He needs to realize what he's not, the first or second shooting option, or he needs to sit. Defense alone isn't worth that many turnovers.
 
Cole needs to come out, now if we have any chance of winning this.

Cole and Gaff

Need a lot more out of them. Also Hurley needs to recognize that Cole might not be an elite on ball defender so he shouldn’t be in his mans face full court. Leads to his foul trouble. But back to the point, Gaff and Cole need to do more than just babysit the ball until it’s in Bouk’s hands. Try...
