Any chance that he brings some Notre Dame commits with him?

Not sure how to feel about this one. He had great athletes at ND so was it the talent he had or the schemes? What can he do with an offense?

@coachingsearch: Im surprised. A source tells me the UCONN job is not going to Pete Lembo. Warde Manuel has something up his sleeve.

That's Vader's music.....

@BFeldmanCBS: BREAKING #NotreDame DC Bob Diaco will be the new head coach at #UConn, source told CBS. 5yr deal, starts at $1.5 mil.

Seems low

I think Diaco was option 1b so I'm very happy about this hire

My sources tell me that the reason Narduzzi withdrew his name was because WM told him that he was visiting Diaco this evening and if things went well, Diaco would receive an offer, if not, he's call Narduzzi for a second interview.

That's my story. Once I get a twitter account it will be out there and in a few hours it will be fact.

Not happening

In for a penny in for a pound. If you trust this guy to run your whole team than I guess that means the whole team and you don't force him to take on an OC that he didn't ask for.

Is that the operating theory?

1 year removed from a Broyles award and National Championship game; Big Ten ties; keyed into top recruits. I'm good with this. Maybe he's football's version of CKO coming to kick ass. Here's to the young guard taking over at UConn.

Right here, right now, i'm dubbing him HCCK. Look at his face, which was clearly hewn out of granite and you should know that the CK stands for Clark Kent. HCBD is a little unwieldy.
