Also has been on staff with Oregon and Washington. She's gonna have the whole Pac 12 covered at this rate.

Actually I was wrong..... 4 stints at Power 5 Schools..... she was an assistant at Duke for a few years. I didnt know she was born in MD........ Her brother did play basketball at HPU for a few years earlier this decade.

Yesterday USC announced that Mark Trakh had hired Erin Grant away from Texas Tech as AC. Grant has AC'd at several schools now, but she was one of the all-time great PGs at Texas Tech in her day. This is basically a lateral move for her; gotta wonder if she didn't mesh well with Stollings, or maybe she just wants to live in LA.

Either they wanted a clean slate from anything Hatchell, or Smith didn't take the job due to what happen her mentor. Also there was a rumor from a good source that Sylvia believed that the AD Bubba Cunningham would've never hire someone from her coaching tree whenever she stepped down.

Courtney is leaving the cupboard pretty full in Princeton: Bella Alarie, pg Carlie Littefield, guards Julia Cunningham and Grace Stone, back-up center Kira Emsbo. (In fact, save for Janelle Bailey and Malu Dikembe Mutombo, I might like most of these players as much as what she's inheriting at NC).

Thought/question: Is Carla Berube connected to Tufts/Boston by familial bonds?
If not, Princeton could be a really good match for her; smart (and for the first years, talented and experienced) players, great institution, open and diverse setting.

Grew up an hour west.
Has a wife and kid(s). Other than the Bay area, not too many better places to be a gay family than Boston.

Seriously? I'd never heard that area as being so gay family friendly. LA, Bay Area, NYC, Seattle, Hawaii, etc. but never Boston. But good to hear.
