I'm sure she is very busy, even more so since disclosing her illness. I would have understood just the form letter and her signature. I'm sure she has gotten thousands of letters of well wishes. Even writing a quick two sentence note must take a lot of her time if she does that on every letter. A very nice gesture on her part.
