I'm sorry but if Bent is going to continue to not even think about shooting or penetrating and just pass the ball like it is a hot potato as soon as she touches it, then it like playing 4 on 5 on the offensive end.
 
Feeling for Jamelle, screaming to get her team to hold for one shot, resulting in a travel and then a breakout off the inbound pass.

Kaizen Even though I have Slingtv, I downloaded the Espn app next to the Slingtv app (using Roku) and when the Espn3 games are broadcast, I use the Espn app and sign in using my Slingtv credentials and watch the games that way. Seems to cut out using espn3 through slingtv, and I get better reception ALL the time. Any questions, write me. I have also had Slingtv not showing the uconn games through its awful new menu. and this is a good workaround.

Megan Walker was doing the same thing in her short stint on the court.
 
Giving up 32 points in a half against this team isn't great.

Still seems like we're vulnerable to a team getting hot from 3. Cincy won't beat us, but what about a team like Oregon?
 
I'd like to see more of a punch from the bench, but I'm not going to sweat an inconsistent game today.

She hasn't done it for 1 1/2 years though. She was also benched for doing it.

C'mon Nan. It has absolutely nothing to do with gender but self aggrandizement. The checkmeout, look at me, it's all about me, posterizing stuff that made me follow only WBB. Now, if she'd blocked that shot, slapped palms and urged her fellow players on, I'm on her side.

Wanting to beat UConn badly and playing with emotion doesn't mean you have act like an idiot either, Whatever just a difference in opinion.
 
Do some of our residents worrywarts know UConn’s starting point guard isn’t playing today? That’s a big reason it took the offense a while to get started. Crystal is also an underrated perimeter defender who can keep her man from penetrating.

Baskets in the Paint at the Half
Johnny Bench 2 + 5 = 7
UConn 6 + 0 = 6


Double checking the play by play there were only 2 baskets for UConn in that quarter that were 2 pointers. Jump shots by Collier and Stevens and I dont think Colliers was in the paint. I know Stevens wasnt.

Not that Cuse can't play tough but this is so typical for L'Ville. Play mediocre in the 1st half and come out in the 2nd with a sense of purpose. Unless of course they are playing a higher ranked team - then it's hard all the way.
 
It looked to me that the majority of the bench players couldn't defend their player if their life depended on it. Oh wait , their UConn life does! I am guessing that is why Walker and Coombs didn't stay on the floor very long.

Our defense goes from very good to stumped. Coombs came on fairly early from the bench and was beaten badly on a number of defensive plays. Our bench took a step back imho. :(
 
Final basket at buzzer made score 52-32, now says 52-30, did I miss something?
 
I'd like to see Team 2 especially Z play well this period. She really looks like she's just over thinking everything.
