That's what the Puritans did after the Pequot War. Some even say Thanksgiving has it's origins in the defeat of the Pequots. Now folks, it's not nice to revel in the misfortunes of others, especially on Thanksgiving day.

Enjoyed your post. I bet their fans are hoping Jesus makes an appearance...!What they don't have is disciple, chemistry and a leader who runs the team with discipline and an iron hand.

You mentioned the possible lack of respect towards Holly. I'm not sure if that's true (I did not catch the game and have not seen players interact with her) but if it's even a little true, it will only get worse if the people I'm referring to end up running the ship.Yes. Nepotism and inbreeding is always a good thing.
I'm amazed at how down the Volnation folks are on Holly, and that's after the Mods banned most of the negavols. Soon, there will be no one left there.
I don't see much respect from the players toward Holly. To me, that's one of the biggest problems. I don't see much chance of improvement next year either. Russell will be working with new feet and it will be interesting to see how Diamond and Holly interact.
I just get the feeling that Tennessee's culture for many years now has been one big looking forward to next year.
I suspect some of their fans are hoping for a more "Old Testament" approach...Enjoyed your post. I bet their fans are hoping Jesus makes an appearance...!![]()

Ariel said at the start of the season that the team is going to listen to Holly and take direction this year.... but I am not so sure....
I see four or five losses for TN this year.
It was an absolute debacle. TN goes down 17 before half and not one timeout was taken.
We didn't deserve to win, Chatt outplayed us in every facet of the game. JJ was the only player who appeared interested.
Tennessee recruits great players. UCONN recruits great team players. Therein lies the difference in their success over the past couple of decades.
Can't wait to hear what Margo has to say about the loss. As of this post, she hasn't uploaded a video yet.
Lady Vols also play Texas in Texas on Sunday. They could easily have a two game losing streak by the time Sunday night comes.

Well, OK, but it seems so much more fun to expend that energy on the likes of ND!Well, I would argue that an OT loss to Stanford at Maples is a little different than losing to UT-Chattanooga. Plus, it's fun to have enemies in sports. And I will always enjoy watching that program lose games.![]()
Oh believe me, if ND lost to UT-Chattanooga I would be equally pleased. But ND is too well-coached to let that happen. It's just so much fun to watch a meltdown mid-game on VolNation.Well, OK, but it seems so much more fun to expend that energy on the likes of ND!
And that is the positive Tennessee site.Yikes! I just checked out VolNation http://www.volnation.com/forum/tennessee-lady-vols/231166-lady-vol-hoops-central-chattanooga-19.html
Fans often go easier on true pros than those folks are being with their student athletes.
Makes the Yard look positively positive!

I think Icebear was talking about Mr. Shuttlesworth. He will, but he's a Gamecock fan.
