Shook my head when I saw Abba.

Was recently in Stockholm. They have an ABBA museum there, that actually is supposed to be interesting, but we didn't have time to take a peek. Mama Mia.

I made that same observation.
I didn't want to be the first one to throw water on this kid, but I honestly wasn't that impressed with the first highlight video I watched. He's extremely skinny and the level of competition in the videos seems very weak. He seems to have a pretty good outside shot and can use both hands around the rim but I hope we stay involved with other bigs from his class.

I think there is a lot to like here, you don't get ready made bigs for NBA. Not a high riser per se, but very skilled for a young big, remember this is not senior year tape. To those that are a bit critical, certainly understand your viewpoints. Also, seems like a confident (not cocky, in the right way) kid when interviewed, composed.

To me, the takeaway is a very skilled offensively young big that will need a few years (the UConn m.o.) to get stronger, sign me up for Chance!

Not to sound like a dick but im not in love with his game. Ill pass.

His mom:
@mkmcgee24: Many thanks to HC Kevin Ollie & the whole UCONN staff for hosting a fantastic Official Visit for my son Chance Comanche. #1stclasscoaches

When his mother retweets favorites and follows me it pretty much official right?

It's much harder to gain skill than weight..(especially when you're over 30, but I digress). I don't know much about Chance, but I like what I see, and usually guys are rated high for a reason. He looks like he has actual basketball skills, even if he's not an uber athlete. I prefer someone like him over Govan for UConn's style as he can get up and down the court and finish. He kind of reminds me of a smaller John Henson/Loren Woods type. That's not a bad thing.

Not sure what to think when I read posts criticizing a recruit's game. Obviously everyone has a right to an opinion. On the other hand, it's likely that a player's family, friends or even the recruits themselves could lurk on this forum, and we don't want to send the message that we have a critical or negative fan base. In a small way we are part of this recruitment process too and every little thing matters when a kid is on the fence about choosing a school. If the staff is recruiting him that is good enough for me. They see the potential and they scout the kid live, certainly not drawing conclusions from a handful of youtube videos.

I am a big fan of being careful on this board in regards to what we post. Many of us are told things and becuause the people telling us know we are on the Boneyard remind us the info is not for public knowledge.

Your sources as good as Chief's, scote? :D

I like mauconnfan's game. A good finisher with some decent word skills. Lot's to work with.
BTW, I also like Chance's game. He knows his way around a basketball court it appears.
