CBB Discussion Week 7

I don't know what was said...but he was out of control screaming something and fighting to be unrestrained...and when your own kids have to grab you by the tie and drag you toward your bench...that is too much. It becomes a distraction to the game.

Williamson and Barrett are as good as it gets as a 1-2 punch but Duke has some weak players in their rotation and very little depth. Good game right now v. Texas Tech.

Barrett is playing awful and Williamson has flaws that get exposed vs. good teams.

T. Jones is keeping them alive. Hope Texas Tech pulls it out - it’s close right now.

Houston wins their 4th straight game against top 100 KenPom competition (and 5 of last 7 in total were top 100). The last 3 of them have not been especially pretty, but getting the job done.

They scheduled excellently, a lot of 35-85 KenPom teams which give you Q1 on the road and most Q2 at home.

A lot of these wins will age nicely, and not just for Houston.
In a season that is transitional for the AAC marquee teams (UConn, Memphis, Wichita), we're seeing some good signs.

11 point win for the dookies. They do loaf along some. But it was a defensive battle.

Winning ugly games and gutting it out when behind are traits to like...that Williamson kid is great.

Oregon looks awful again vs. Baylor
They could not score at all in the first half. Looked hopeless.

I forgot Baylor got that Yalie that killed them in the NCAA tournament. He is a good player.

They went 60% from 3. Tough to beat that, he scored 45. How did they lose 2 games? Howard went 13-19. Rest of team 9-16. Buffalo is still a good and tough team. Going to get a lot of ink at tourney time, but you still need luck.

Lunardi's Bracketology...

Has Cincinnati and Houston as six seeds...

Palm has Houston as a 3 seed...Cincinnati as an 8
Both also have UCF as an 11 if I remember correctly

Markus Howard has 25 straight points for Marquette. 40 in the second half. Just raining threes on Buffalo. Not sure I’ve ever seen a college player this on fire.
Crazy, nobody in the country gets hot like him. Already had another 45 point night this season and 52 on Providence last year. 25 straight points is just absurd.
