It seems like Floyd didn't want to compete with Castle and Newton for 2 years for play. As silly as that is, kids have their reasons and just like we are allowed to recruit incoming transfers, players are allowed to feel upset about a perceived notion of being recruited over. If the week ends with Castle and Newton in and Gaffney, Diggins, Floyd, Double Name out, then that is a massive win in terms of high end championship caliber basketball at UConn

I’m sorry, I guess I’m just struggling with people saying “oh so this is why…..Hurley 5 steps ahead!”

We had no guards to begin with, and we lost one. So another 17 year old reclasses and suddenly people are telling Floyd to not let the door hit you and Hurley is brilliant? As if the 4 star 17 year old is going to come in and take over right away?

This Floyd loss stings. He was the real deal.

Hurley literally should get zero credit on anything that has taken place ever since we got our asses handed to us in the first round.
