There are many opinions on the board, some agreeable and some disagreeable. Coaching is a delicate balance of skill, attitude, and desire on behalf of the players. To compound that issue, match-ups and personal issues put those 3 items in a constant state of flux. It becomes the coach's responsibility to recognize and mesh these variables to the most advantageous mix. They all fail and they all succeed in this endeavor. My best guess is they have had some of the very same discussions that appear ad-nauseum on the board. After those gut check conversations, the staff/Geno has determined what they feel is their best option for the game and what triggers will change those options. So, these conversations about player worth are not without merit but I believe them to be at times in bad taste. These ladies are more competitive than most of us have been or ever will be. That fierceness also leads to harsh self-criticism and awareness. In other words, they already know how they have affected the team with their play bad or good. For some of them, they can never give enough. Obviously, for some of us, they can't either. I know they are on display and subject to critiques by all fans both knowledgeable and insane. However, I hope that we, as board participants, can balance this board in a manner that respects all parties.
