Yeah, you can't nail all perfect kids. It's impossible. Too much unpredictability. Kids do dumb things.

People say JC recruited too many scumbags, but a bunch of the quote/unquote ne'er-do-wells were good kids. AJP and Williams were both from well off respectable families. Wiggens was a decent kid in high school. You can't always tell.

That said, JC probably had too much confidence in his ability to 'rescue' a kid too (Nate Miles being the last).

Yeah, that Caron was a real scumbag. Imagine if we never recruited Caron. He turned out to be an even better person than he was a player.

I'm saying I 'd like to see him have to operate in the one and done environment( and with a deeper field of competitive teams).

Why? So you can judge how good a coach he is?

If he were in such an environment we'd be saying, I'd like to see Geno operate in an environment where he keeps his good players four years and we can know and enjoy them longer.

Is Geno recruiting Brag? This thread has gone off the rails. There is a another board for these types of squabbles over women's hoops.
