What part of she has great possibility didn't you see in my post?
I watched the game folks. Liv and Aaliyah had the better conditioning and were able to get better position for rebounding. The fouls that people talk about were because Liv caused them and Cardoso needs conditioning to avoid getting those fouls. Liv and Aaliyah actually played well in that game against all the bigs Cuse threw at them including Cardoso.

Cardoso is a great talent and I want her at UConn. I just don't think she'll start over Liv and Aaliyah. Folks there are many shades of gray between black and white.

Agreed. Which is why I said Geno and staff have to figure out a way to make it work if they can land Cardoso. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. Finding a way will be job 1 if we can land her. 😀

To me those are pretty comparable numbers, Liv even played more than her and was surrounded by much more talent. Also those are numbers she’s putting up as a freshman...So I don’t know if that’s considered handled.

And add in that Liv was the one who largely got her in foul trouble. That is an aspect of impacting the game from Liv that should be acknowledged. That's all I am saying.

The other thing to consider: Geno may know something about his team that we don't. Hence adding potentially two additional players through the transfer portal in the first three weeks of the off-season.
 
I hope geno and uconn gonna recruit her Im not shore if he will ....cause she's good ....and adding her gonna be fire
 
Don't we already have 15 players, or does Autumn not count?

Thanks, the plot is really thickening if she comes here. I can't even imagine what Geno is going to do.
 
I’ll be honest I don’t know how I feel about this one. She’s a great talent and one that would thrive at UCONN but at what cost in minutes to current players and the potential to have a stunt in growth for those coming off the bench. Tough one for me to wrestle with.

BTW I live an hour north of Syracuse so good on the BY to get to this news before my local news does!

Here is an AP article written in the last day (Before this Cardoso news) about Q and the 11 transfers. I do have to say that while I am not a big fan of Q, I respected how he handled Tiana Mangakahia's breast cancer diagnosis and recovery. Be her accounts, his support off the court was critical in this journey. This article gave rationale about the 11 transfers and why he wasn't worried. Now with Cardoso going, he should be worried.

If she does come to UCONN I am concerned about everyones playing time next year. We will have a ton of talent.
I am just thinking bigs- Ono, Edwards, DeBerry, Dorka (Last name I am blanking on) and now Cardoso for the big bigs....Plus we have Paith.... who I really was hoping would get some more playing time next season.

I am curious what happens at the end of next year. Does Dorka do one and done? Will we have four players leaving, and of that 2 bigs.
