Can't figure this team out.

1. AK had a breakout game BUT.
2. HD played his heart out.
3. Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers.
4. Lost to the cellar dwellar
5. Beat Marquette and Creighton at their place.
6. WTF is going on!
Because Ball and McNeeley had career nights and carried us. While Karaban played better he still was inconsistent on outside shots. We aren't that good and Marquette and Creighton aren't that good either. Just awful season defining loss.

Love McNeeley but people should call a spade a spade, he played and shot pretty damn bad. 6 turnovers. Played so great last game but was a real hurt today.

We can't inbounds against a press because we have slow wings and a PG with 1 knee. The game was in hand despite a horrific shooting night.

I think it's getting to the point where it's too late to really significantly (consistently) turn things around. Let's see what they do vs Nova, otherwise I think I might check out if that game is a bust.

Seems like the type of team that might play above their heads in round 1 only to lay an egg in the round of 32.

This team runs it's inbounds like it runs its offense, a half step too slow. We went from having a team of ultra fast processors, to a team that just does't click at the speed of a Cam, Castle, TNew and AJax. Watch Solo cut through the paint with a casual hand up getting zero separation everytime. Now put TNew and Cam fricken Spencer in there and our offense would look dynamic.

Diarra, McNeeley and Karaban make net positive winning plays mostly every game and their desire is evident. Last year we were seven deep in that department. The aggregate of that (-4) loss in high IQ players results in not only losses like this, but all the losses of 4 or less we've accumulated this year. High IQ players make EVERYONE better.

Every poor performance it's a new thing lol. 25 turnovers, can't inbound, missed FT, etc.

Now we are truly on the bubble because this team can't count on any of the easy Ws left on the schedule.

Yeah Creighton didn't play him Physical. He struggles against Physicality like our whole team does which is embarrasing.

We have to make the tournament first

As incredible as Liam was vs Creighton he was that bad today. I was wrong about him. I thought his absence was the reason for our problems. We are just bad.
Wow McNeeley is a good player he still has issues to his game. He can't play through physical play and turns it over too much. We are a very average team.

Not looking forward to see dixon score 50 against this team

They had a bad game.

But if they had an inbounds play, they win.

They were a 14.5 pt favorite on the road vs a 2-12 team. If they hold on to somehow win the game, the conversation would not be celebratory in nature.

And because Hurley has chosen to nail Nowell to the bench this season. But also, we show so much creativity in our offense. You're telling me we can't design a creative inbounds play or five to make up for the fact that we're a bit slow-footed? I don't buy it.

For starters, we need to take the ball out of Alex's hands. He's missing reads because he's gun-shy. And for all this talk about his bball IQ, he had one unforgivable five-second call (with a timeout in his back pocket) and nearly had a second one.

Tonight was basically the first time we attempted running the baseline or having multiple guys start from the baseline. It was also pretty clear we never practiced it, because Liam was looking to the bench for instructions as it was being set up.

Earth to the coaching staff... time to spend 30 minutes on inbounds plays each practice for the foreseeable future.

Shame on everyone dogging McNeeley.

He’s 3 games back from a 6 week absence.

Many of you voted for his performance against Creighton as the best performance ever for a UConn player (lol)

He didn’t have many open shots today. SHU did a good job

Seems like a team full of headcases at this point. They're also physically weak and can't deal with a whiff of physicality. Seton hall banged us all game and we wilted.
When you have a 7 point lead with 36 seconds to go, and the game goes to OT, and then regain a decent lead in OT with seconds remaining and then lose the game…….That’s on the coaching staff.
