It's because USF does not want to be stuck here. They more than likely could not get back. Yes the game could have been played. Chief is right, and the Righteous Indignants wrong. Nobody denies the players from USF want to be with family. But what if one gets washed out to sea when he could have been safe in East Hartford or thereabouts?

My friend these kids are not traveling to be with their families in Miami or Ft Lauderdale. Who would suggest that risky trip and destination?

Totally illogical. Kids and staff are infinitely safer in CT out of the impact area...like the millions being ordered to evacuate. Unnecessary decision.
