Dogs love beer, just saying. Supposedly bad for them.
I can attest to that. I had just poured myself a half and half into a mug for St. Paddy's day and walked out of the room. When I came back a few minutes later, my Staffie had drunk half of it. I never made the same mistake again.

2 Brittanys!! Bonnie & Clyde, longing for the great outdoors.

Yeah she is a Mountain Cur at 52 lbs rescued her a year ago she’s a wonderful dog. Most definitely a hunter. Rabbits, squirrels and especially stupid chipmunks aren’t safe in our yard. But we were told because of her high energy she’d never be a lapdog well that was wrong. Always putting my legs to sleep at night lol.

This is the picture of her and one of her puppies in Stamford CT when we visited her to see if we’d like to rescue. You can see her puppy is a silver lab so we know who she hooked up with lol. View attachment 62275

She will be 3 this year.

My girl is exactly the opposite energy-wise. I take her outside all the time and she basically just hangs by my side. She'll chase a ball or run for maybe 15 minutes a day. Usually 30 minute walks are more than enough. Likes playing with other dogs some, but mostly just a daddys girl.

When I teach my online classes he sits in my lap the entire time. Kids love it lol

My cat Vinny.

Four days into buying our home, Ms. Hey Adrien! went on a sisters' trip to Rhode Island. That Friday afternoon, I get a call from my sister-in-law, warning so, just to let you know, [your wife] found a kitten for adoption and she'll call you in a few to ask you if we can bring it home.

A few minutes later, the call comes and I'm happy for the adoption, but I'm asked to meet them in Rhode Island as soon as I can. It's summer, it's 5:30 PM on a Friday...no way I'm driving to Rhode Island from Norwalk in gridlock summer traffic. We agree to meet at the Ikea parking lot and then I drive him back home for two nights of just him and I.

I haven't had a cat since I was 9, and I was more of a dog person at the time, but he's the best addition to our family. Such a weirdo and so much personality!

The white one in my pic is a pomashihpoo. She is all of 3 1/2 pounds. I refer to her as a Poundofshitortwo.
My sister has a shihpoo from the same litter as my niece's (which is just a puppy).

I have been amazed that the older dog, now full-grown at 20 months, has enough vigor and the interest to 'fill up' both of their ample yards with the type of lengthy runs I'd associate with a distinctly larger ("full size") dog.

Really wanted to post a picture of my 1 year old daughter hanging out with her dogs wearing her "Nuck Fova" shirt but the file was too large. Gotta get them started young on the rivalry.

Beautiful Husky - that's one of my definite options for a dog if we ever decide to get one ... my dad had one and it died a few years back, was my favorite dog - I've had cats for years just b/c they're easier, haven't had a dog in my house since I was like 4.

Thank you Mr. F! Gotta learn to love vacuuming but it's worth it.

Great dogs. We have two Springers (who also can't stay off the couches...).
They are also one of the few bird dogs left that have not been bred out and can still really hunt.

Yes, ours are both field dogs with champions in their bloodlines. We don't hunt, but the natural instinct of these dogs is unmistakable.
