Awesome article. I liked how JC mentioned The Boneyard. It just sounds funny.

Amazing what we were able to do, and it's such a great cause for us to rally around.

It's been an honor to have led this program through a great career, and I'm incredibly moved to see the fans at The Boneyard honor what UConn basketball has meant to them by donating in my name," Calhoun says. "That they are contributing to an issue so important to me personally makes it even better. I truly thank each and every one of them for their generosity today and their support through the years."

It's a nice recognition. I have to admit, I'd like to have gotten one of those thank you letters from Coach. It would be a nice keepsake.

You guys aren't forgotten. We're working on something.

(Edited to be less cryptic)

Great article. It was a no brainer to contribute. It's great to know JC was move by our action. It means that much more to the choice to give.

Who is that John Sponauer guy who wrote the article? Who tipped him off about this? ;)

After reading that I'm ready to donate a few more $$$$!

Nice to see Idahohusky in there. He drove from Kentucky for one of our golf tournaments one year and is an all time favorite Yarder.

Just read this finally. Very nice of JC to thank all of us for sure and he has no idea what he did for many of us!!

I've truly lived UConn hoops because of his work!! Liked it before from the Dee Rowe days, fell in love with JC's teams though and was disappointed even during summer days when people aren't talking about the mens hoop team........it was truly a great ride and hopefully a new one has begun!!

Thanks UConn Found!!........hope they keep winning so I can keep donating........20 more bucks on the line for NC State!!

I liked the reference to the Clemson game. I was an undergraduate at the time, watching the game projected onto a huge screen in Gampel, when "the shot" happened.
