Boneyard donations - Foundation article link: Pat and Jim Calhoun Cardiology Center at the UConn Health Center
It's been an honor to have led this program through a great career, and I'm incredibly moved to see the fans at The Boneyard honor what UConn basketball has meant to them by donating in my name," Calhoun says. "That they are contributing to an issue so important to me personally makes it even better. I truly thank each and every one of them for their generosity today and their support through the years."
It's a nice recognition. I have to admit, I'd like to have gotten one of those thank you letters from Coach. It would be a nice keepsake.
Thanks for all your work and the work of people in this forum who set things up as well as the UConn Foundation.By the way, very happy the article is well received here. It went out in our e-newsletter yesterday, and currently is on the home page of UConn Today, the UConn Health Center, and the UConn Foundation.
Nice to see Idahohusky in there. He drove from Kentucky for one of our golf tournaments one year and is an all time favorite Yarder.
