I have a major problem with this guy, he is a good coach but he's a petty little immature jackass. After yelling at our student section twice after beating us I grew tired of his act. Tonight he showed off more of his immaturity and lack of class. After beating WVU and ending their hopes at the tourny he was out at center court dancing to "Country Road" and then laughing at the WVU fans, clearly inciting them. He is doing a great job at Marquette but no way does this guy ever get a chance at moving to an even bigger program, he really needs to grow up.

The man has proven to be a pretty good coach - players like him and play hard for him. Would like many of our bigs and swings to emulate what they do when they get a rebound as trhey ALL sprint to spots or directly to the basket. Some of our bigs love to jog...........

Having said that he's a real tool. His antics on the sideline are over the top many times during the game nevermind after.....love passion but sometimes people can go beyond, he does. I remember a question which was asked to him during the BE pre-season coaches meetings and his answer was very disrespectful of BE history and coaches......I get the "......can't worry about what the other coach has done..." viewpoint but when you totally disregard the people who have made the conference you work in what it is, you're a bufoon.........

The back n forth with our fans was childish at best, take the win be a man and go in with your kids to the lockeroom...........the dance last night shows he is now a pompous a** who hasn't had this much success in his life and has no idea how to handle it........he just beat Bobby Huggins, a great coach who has a team which is struggling, and the best he can do is the fn 2 step??

Sorry I love his kids, they play hard and will be the perfect team for me to latch onto once the Dance starts - unfortunatley at the same time I will be very happy when HE loses and if it's an early exit, then even better!!! Do not like the man and he needs to grow the duckk up....his type can't lose enough for me.....

buzz is clearly one of those guys you love if he is on your side and hate if he isn't. i do think some of his theatrics lacks professionalism and will eventually catch up to him but he does have his team playing well and his guys look like they love playing for him.

Williams is a bit of a clown, but I don't think it is too big a deal.

More importantly, how does a WVU team with this much talent not make the dance? Jones is a borderline NBA player. Bryant has all the athletic tools, is just dumb as dirt. Kalicli should be a dominant forward, but plays like he is stoned most of the time. UConn got the better of the Hinds/Boatright trade. Hinds numbers are solid for a frosh, but he looks really confused out there a lot. I think he will be a decent player, but not as good as Boat.

Buzz Aldrin?
Though to be fair to Aldrin, the nutjob who called him a liar/fraud totally deserved it. This was a case where a punch in the jaw was the perfectly appropriate response.
I just wonder why Buzz Aldrin could be driven to such rage over a "kook" saying he didn't walk on the moon. If some guy came up to Jordan and called him a liar and said he didn't win a bunch of rings, Jordan would laugh and let security take care of it.
Punching somebody for saying something that offends you is assault, and Aldrin should have done some time in jail.

Buzz makes All BE players out of 3 starts like Johnson-Odom and Crowder. His players play really hard for him. He is doing more with less at Marq.

Astronauts are way more cool than ordinary humans and get extended special rights. That includes being able to throw a haymaker when they're old enough to be collecting social security.

Only a special kind of would advocate jail for a 74 year old guy busting another grown man in the chops.

I definitely think he gets a lot out of his players, but you gotta remember that Johnson-Odom and Crowder were transfers. They both came in right away and were starters, and were pretty good, so they must have (i) been coached well prior to arriving at Marquette; (ii) excellent drive and capacity to get better. In the case of Crowder, Buzz Williams had him for just two years.

I think Mike Brey is the best in the big east at getting the most out of not so highly regarded players.
