I have a major problem with this guy, he is a good coach but he's a petty little immature jackass. After yelling at our student section twice after beating us I grew tired of his act. Tonight he showed off more of his immaturity and lack of class. After beating WVU and ending their hopes at the tourny he was out at center court dancing to "Country Road" and then laughing at the WVU fans, clearly inciting them. He is doing a great job at Marquette but no way does this guy ever get a chance at moving to an even bigger program, he really needs to grow up.

Best way to stop his schtick? Beat Marquette.

Don't get upset with the way he has a bit of funning after winning on a visiting teams court. It's not like he flipping the bird or crotch grabbing.

College needs more coaches with good, light-hearted personalities.

It could have gotten interesting if he pulled that in front of Huggins, might have had his fruity little sweater vest pulled over his head. You could tell Raftery and the other announcer didn't like it, Raftery got hit in the head with something from the WVU fans. The hieght of hypocricy is Buzz sittng down after that and talking about how he sat his starters in the first half because he was setting an example and had to let them know they are responsible for their actions. You really set a great example for them Buzz.

I didn't watch the game but considering he benched players for tomfoolery in the first half, he should have set a better example.

And, his dance looked a bit like the dad's dance from Christmas Story when he opens up the Italian leg lamp.

I'd be more OK if it WAS a Marquette player. They at least are "kids" teasing other "kids". Buzz is a near 40 year old man who really should be setting a better example, especially in the leadership role he is at, at an institution of higher learning.

And he wonders why he has had to suspend DJO twice this season? Can't expect maturity from players when you don't show any yourself.

I have not been a huge fan of the guy based on his actions from a few years ago. Calhoun reached a milestone victory @ Marquette ((700, maybe) and Williams gave him a half second, silent handshake after the game. If it was win 699 or 701, I wouldn't care, but when a peer achieves something like that, a pat on the shoulder and a "Congratulations" are in order.

Though to be fair to Aldrin, the nutjob who called him a liar/fraud totally deserved it. This was a case where a punch in the jaw was the perfectly appropriate response.

Back to Williams, I know people are piling on, and I guess he went over the line, but I don't think we need to give him any more attention. Karma is a beyotch as they say. If opposing fans get on his case I think it could make Marquette a better team (us-vs-world). And to be completely honest, if he was UConn's coach and pulled this crap I would probably support him.
