Thanks for the laughs. Smh.
So avoiding teams that have someone at his position = him forcing his way to a team that “would let him play pg”? You are beyond rehabilitation.Man shutup

NBA Rumors: Stephon Castle Avoiding Draft Workouts with Teams Who Have Starting PGs
UConn star Stephon Castle is reportedly turning down workouts with teams that have starting point guards, per ESPN's Jonathan Givony: "He also appears to be…bleacherreport.com
We have to.If we don't bring in a top PG from the portal then it'll be a bad off-season.
I agree with the Solo Ball comment but Diarra should never have the ball at the end of the shot clock as he is cluless how to create. Ball's offensive game has been developing off the dribble and agree he should get more chances. I just want Diarra start the offense and give he ball to Karaban, Ball or McNeeley to create at the end of the shot clock.I’m not saying Diarra is good at the end of the shot clock. But it’s obvious that’s what we trust him to do because he has the ball almost every single time it happens.
I don’t know why we don’t give Solo the ball more at the end of games
We’re in agreement. Sorry if that wasn’t clear.I agree with the Solo Ball comment but Diarra should never have the ball at the end of the shot clock as he is cluless how to create. Well how your rate him as an NBA player has no impact on how good of a college player he was. You know Adama Sanogo is all playing the G Leaugue. So you are also saying he wouldn't be an impactful player on this team?No that’s not the reason. But he was drafted there for a reason. I don’t care to have a Newton conversation because it’d sound harsh and the board wouldn’t be that receptive anyways.
That someone played point in college does not necessarily mean those skills will play at the level needed in the NBA. Cam last year and Andre the year before ran a lot of point but the NBA didn’t look at them as point guards. Then why did he have to force his way to go to a team who’ll play him at PG in the NBA?
I’m not judging him by his NBA play. I’m judging him based on the fact that on one of the most efficient offenses with talent all around him he managed to shoot 40% from the field and 30% from 3.Well how your rate him as an NBA player has no impact on how good of a college player he was. I don’t care too much one way or another but I can certainly see why people hate this lmaoLet the pearl clutching commence!
Danny may have watched the way the Chiefs’ last game was officiated and maybe it set him off even more that this two time defending champion can’t sniff the gift calls that two time defending champion gets lol. NFL Memes was literally mocking it for most of the game, and deservedly so.I don’t care too much one way or another but I can certainly see why people hate this lmao

So it is all about his shooting. He also created for others with his penetration. He was also a good rebounder and underrated defender.I’m not judging him by his NBA play. I checked the box scores from when Clingan was out last year today. You should too and look at what Newton was doing during that time.
The first round of NBA draft is mostly guys who were ranked by scouts out of high school as top 15 players, and young foreign players who are ranked high by scouts. NBA does not care how good you are right now, they just want to draft lotto tickets(ie, young players with high upside). If you are not drafted in first round you will never get a chance to show what you can do unless you get lucky and land on an injury depleted team, or luck into a coach that somehow notices what you can do and is willing to break convention and give a second round player some minutes. Half the NBA teams these days are trying to lose on purpose, and playing an awful player who has high upside, is better than playing someone who is good now and might actually help you win games. All these teams have same road map, lose now and collect a large pool of raw young players, and hope they all magically mature into stars at the same time in the future.Hurley star pupil = All American and 59th pick in the NBA draft
This board and I have very different opinions of Tristan Newton but that’s okay. I’m hoping Hurley has better star pupils to show off his development with in the future.
This sophomore class is a great chance to do that because they’ll be here for more than 2 years. Develop these very talented young men that trusted in your coaching enough to come here. Please do not give up on them to grab a transfer guy someone else already coached up.
People talk about him on this board like he’s one of our best players ever. You’re describing a good role player. Which…So it is all about his shooting. He also created for others with his penetration. He was also a good rebounder and underrated defender.
Three primary reasons:They scored 5 points in the last 7 minutes to Butler's 16....at home....How is that even remotely possible?
Yeah, I don't get the idea that UConn isn't playing hard or that there is some level of effort that we're not giving that will overcome every opponent. There was a lot UConn could do better, and this crew has some pretty severe self-destructive impulses, but they are paying hard and pulling these games out for the most part.
