Even worse, the parent or handler likely also has a salary demand, perhaps including add'l cash paid under the table, but it is not a violation in the eyes of the NCAA.

He's certainly not smart enough to keep his mouth shut and let the schools come to him.I don't care if he's qualified though. It's the same situation as the school hiring a parent to another university position in order to get a kid. I'm not down.
You are essentially paying money to a family for a kid's services. They parent doesn't even have to do anything. They are not going to get fired, as long as the kid is there.
