Why is Brimah wrestling with his opponents instead of playing basketball? Where did he get the idea that pushing and shoving is how you play basketball? This is Ollie's greatest flaw in coaching. He needs to hire a big man coach.

Husky91 is way over the top but there is some truth to what he says. Has brimah ever done anything against a real team All season?

Just a complete disappearing act against every real team.

Truth be told, not very bright on the court. 2 very stupid fouls and amazingly enough he looks puzzled? That's scary if he doesn't understand that.

Ollie was disgusted with Brimah. Still has no clue you can't use your hands to play defense

The coaches undoubtedly teach him not to do that but his instincts take over on the court and it most likely is because of his lack of strength and girth that causes him to commit this stupid fouls

Brimah was set up on the first foul. Defender created the tangle than broke contact violently. It was intentional action to draw a foul. Ollie was coaching Amida to pull his own arm back to take away the risk.

Guys this offseason Brimah will be able to put on some muscle. Don't forget he wasn't able to do that last season due to shoulder surgery. He also hasn't been playing basketball all that long.

Yeah I just dont understand. In a game like this you just play solid defense and dont take chances. And no one except Lubin actually boxes out.

Nolan does most of the time too actually. But that's it.

Don't blame Brimah. He missed the team bus and is not even in Hartford today. project needs to develop a head for the game. Good thing UConn has Nolan for a back up . . . NOT. Recind his scholarship for next year.

Truth be told he has not shown much improvement this year. His per minute rebounding is the same as last year and he obviously hasn't figured out how to not foul. Coaches rave about his attitude so it must not be for lack of trying, the light just hasn't gone on.

Not just the first. The second foul was exact the same thing. Exact same move. Incredible.

It amazes me that people can't see the difference when Brimah is in the game and how it impacts us all over the court. He takes away the paint, he creates run outs, he keeps the back line defense closer to the end line than the foul line. Pay attention.

He makes an absolute difference. But his lack of strength hurts them at times.

If he can do both he'd be a great player.

2 more years of development at UConn to figure it out, if possible to find a bright spot in his recent play...

Team showed a lot of heart the last 10 minutes but when you dig a hole against a very good team you usually pay. They played hard but also made foolish fouls which often us a symptom of constantly coming from behind.

This is the first time I've ever said this about anyone on this board, but can the moderators ban this guy's stupid ass?

Honestly i put alot of the blame on Brimah for this game. If he even remotely knew how to grab a rebound we would've been in this game for longer than the last 5 minutes. If he doesnt take advantage of his summer and gain some muscle/skills, it'll make me crazy. Can't watch us get dominated on the boards another season.

Brimah is not a full time starter, no post game, he can be effective as a blocker but he can't rebound and mix it up and you saw how desperately we needed that. Lubin, much bigger role next year and maybe Enoch. Recruiters get out there!

Brimah cost us staying close the first half which possibly cost us the game. But KO should have protected him early. Our perimeter D is questionable. Our guards get beat off the dribble and everyone knows Brimah goes after everything. But the first foul an offensive foul was just pure stupidity.

Can't blame one player but he definitely was responsible for the deficit. Bad time for both RB and DHam to have bad games on the offensive end.

Both fouls were Brimah making the same poor judgements with his arms.

He doesn't understand what he does wrong. That's why he keeps making the same mistakes. The mistakes cost us today.
